一如預期，今天道奇推出王牌左投克蕭（ClaytonKershaw）擔任先發，不過首局就遭遇亂流，掉了1分，用球數達27球，所幸龔薩雷茲（Adrian Gonzalez）1局下揮出2分全壘打，克蕭第2局也回神，用9球就讓國民打者三上三下。
龔薩雷茲在賽後記者會表示，就像前幾場比賽一樣，每次揮棒都是竭盡所能。
最關鍵的是8局下，道奇二壘手阿特利（ChaseUtley）擊出帶有1分勝利打點的安打，使雙方原本僵持不下的5比5比數，道奇反以6比5超前並領先國民至終場。
阿特利在賽後記者會上謙虛不居功指出，這支安打很關鍵，但是今天也有其他很棒的打者。
